One of my favorite things about fall is the cute tights and socks to wear with boots. As soon as we got these in from Hue I couldn't wait for the weather to get just a LITTLE (emphasis on little) bit cooler so that I could wear these.

Finally it has! The great thing about both these tights and socks is that they actually keep you warm; so not only are they a great fashion statement, but they are also practical!

Etta Kostick is a self taught jewelry designer living in Chicago who specializes in working with stained glass. Love this look--perfect for days like today, when you start to feel a little bit of fall.
The shirt and skirt are both Chan Luu. We have the top in a burnt red, brown, and navy as well--it's the perfect layering piece. Chan Luu did some great work on layering for fall, the skirt is actually 3 skirts on top of one another, so it gives a textured effect.
The vest is by Laurie B, and can be worn several ways, its a beautiful, basic black knit.
The bag is Big Buddha, a great color year round, and tons of pockets. The strap can also be removed.
The necklace is made by a company called Nuna, with beautiful eco-friendly designs. Such a cool piece.
The bracelet is our newest Anne Marie Chagnon accessory. Beautiful addition.

I am currently enrolled at the accredited art school, Columbia College, where my focus is on visual merchandising and retail management. The courses I have taken at Columbia have taught me the business side of fashion along with executing my ideas for displays.
I have always been interested in creative outlets such as music, art, and fashion. With my mother being my biggest supporter, it is because of her and my passion that has led me to follow my goals. From a young age it was looking at the pictures in fashion magazines in her salon which began my interest in fashion.
Having worked in the retail industry for over 5 years, I plan to further my career and abilities at Panache. In this very exciting retail environment I hope to develop interpersonal skills along with creating eye catching displays. The opportunity to work with creative people doing something they believe in is exactly what I have found in Panache.

Alana Galvin

I recently graduated from Eastern Michigan University, Michigan, with a degree in apparel, textiles and merchandising. After graduation and several years of working in retail, I was uncertain of what I wanted to do with the next chapter of my life. Luckily, I have been blessed with an amazing family who has supported and encouraged me with my recent move to Chicago, a City that I have traveled to since I was a child and have always thought it would be a great place to live and work.

I have always loved helping people put together the perfect ensemble. Since I can remember I have been spending time in my mother's closet putting together outfits. I am interested in many different aspects of fashion; I am a creative person and often engage in creative outlets, whether it is music, drawing, or simply assembling an outfit. Although the path forward isn't totally clear, I am confident that it will unfold as it should. I am so excited about my future at Panache, and all the people I will meet and help build the perfect ensemble.

Lauren

Lauren was born and raised in Chicago. She grew up surrounded by musical artists, but her passion has always been in the visual arts, more specifically: Fashion.

Lauren spent her undergraduate career studying Fashion Merchandising and Design and earned a minor in Business Administration. With this being said, she has spent her college career studying both the creative aspects of design as well as the fundamental structure of the business world.

Lauren spends her time drawing, sewing, and creating visionary ready to wear styles. “I love all things fashion, and I aim to further engage myself within the industry.”

At Panache, I have been able to express my love for merchandising. It is something that is not only enhances my creativity, but is also very enjoyable. A hobby of mine while working is playing with accessories within the store and finding new and interesting ways to wear them. I am very happy to be working in such a great environment with very caring and professional individuals.

We are looking so forward to meeting all the Panache customers. We have heard so much about all of you!
